Golden Giraffe Event Awards presented

The professional jury was allowed to present awards in the 6 categories to physical live events and online events. On behalf of organizer, Robin van Leeuwen says: ‘This year, the Golden Giraffe Event Awards have hit an industry in which the blows have been hit so hard, let it straighten itself again and at the same time let it stick out again as the most impactful marketing and means of communication.’

This edition, 70 top events took part, which were assessed by the 17-member professional jury in an online process and after online pitches. Below are the 13 prize winners of the Golden Giraffe Event Awards 2021, they have all received the giraffe delivered to their doorsteps in recent days, including D&B Eventmarketing, which as an agency won 2 times in the Relationship and Community Events category (both online and physical).

* More than 8,000 people cast their votes. This year there was a prize for creativity within the RIVM measures as well as before. Singles Beacht Festival received 13 percent of the votes for organizing a festival within the single market. Project Playground received 11 percent of the vote.

** The jury of The Next Generation award includes 17 students from HU, HKU, HAN and Tio.

Special Mentions

For the first time in years, the Golden Giraffe jury has also appointed 3 special mentions in addition to awarding the prize winners. All three honorable mentions are for events that, according to the organization, have been of great value in putting the event industry on the map and promoting it during the pandemic.
