At the AlzChem Group, the preliminary figures for sales and adjusted EBITDA are better than recently expected by the company. “The company is now assuming that it will generate consolidated sales of around 379 million euros, which is slightly higher than in the previous year, in the 2020 financial year,” said the chemicals group from Trostberg. So far, compared to the 376 million euros from the previous year, sales were expected to decline slightly to stable.
In terms of adjusted EBITDA, AlzChem now expects an increase from 50 million euros to at least 53 million euros instead of the stable to moderately declining result previously forecast.
“The reasons for the very positive development lie in the recovery of the overall markets, especially in the strongly increased demand from the pharmaceutical industry and the automotive sector,” said the company. The final figures for 2020 are to be presented on March 19.
