Louvre Hotels Group opens training hotel at Rungis (Paris)

As a partner of the Rungis Academy, Campanile Rungis-Orly offers the facilities for various F&B training courses. With this, the 84-room hotel is home to the brand-new Corporate Food University called: Chaud Devant, the initiators report.

In addition to opening a hotel in the characteristic Rungis setting, Louvre Hotels Group has a scoop with the launch of the ‘Chaud Devant’ training. This brand new Food University is an integral part of the already existing Rungis Academy, a specialized training center for professionals from the hospitality industry. The inspiring location in the middle of the famous Rungis makes Chaud Devant a special training location with specific attention to sustainability, the environment and local distribution channels. In addition to in-house training, the rooms can be booked for business events, such as thematic workshops or cooking lessons or master classes.

Despite the international pandemic, Chaud Devant is still in a preparatory phase. For example, during the lockdown, various internal hosting and bartender training courses are given to the teams, sometimes personally, sometimes via e-learning. Innovative learning methods are also implemented with virtual reality techniques.

Chaud Devant was designed in collaboration with London design firm Blue Plate, a dedicated Food & Beverage design studio by Wilson Associates. The location of this new Campanile hotel and the new Food University is tangible proof of our passion for gastronomy, hospitality and knowledge transfer.
