At Scale-listed Helma Eigenheimbau, incoming orders reached a new record level in 2020. The total was increased from 296.5 million euros in 2019 to 312.5 million euros. “After sales activities were noticeably negatively impacted by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in the first half of 2020 and meant a year-on-year decline in orders of around 18 percent in the second half of the year, there was a significant increase in demand which led to the strongest sales half year in the company’s history, ”reported the company from Lehrte on Tuesday.
The increase is due to activities in the holiday property sector. Here the company increased incoming orders from 43.4 million euros to 74.5 million euros. While the order volume at Helma Eigenheimbau increased slightly, the company reports a decline from 131.3 million euros to 110.7 million euros for the residential construction sector.
Helma does not provide any further key data for 2020 or the outlook for 2021 on Tuesday.
