DAX – poor start to the new trading week – columns

The DAX® rose to a new all-time high of 14,131 points in the previous week. The index then consolidated. In today’s trading, the German benchmark index is initially under pressure, but has already received its first important support.
There are striking highs and lows in the chart between 13,939 and 13,903 points, which form a support area. As long as the index can hold this zone, rallies to new highs are possible. The index could reach 14,131 and 14,250 points above 14,083 points.

Below 13,900 points, on the other hand, the chart initially becomes cloudy and downside potential of a good 100 points in the direction of 13,795 to 13,774 points can be deduced. Following the development in the previous week, the 13,600 point mark serves as an important support, where the EMA200 hour will soon be running.
