You are actually used to something different: But in fact, the Nasdaq-100® index was the only one of the three major US indices to fail to mark new all-time highs on the last trading day of the old stock market year 2020. The bulls will still be able to get over it, given an impressive annual performance of over 47%. Due to three consecutive consolidation days, there is a clear short-term trigger at 12,925 points. If this is exceeded at the daily closing price, the Nasdaq-100® should continue the rally, with 13,150 points as the next target. In this scenario, hedging could already be pulled below the low of 12,804 points.

On the downside, the index is well supported. Should 12,804 points fall, a gap close at 12,732 points would be conceivable. Below 12,651 points, the index could move back towards 12,510 / 12,439 points. The old all-time high from September 2020 serves as solid support and is likely to absorb minor corrections at 12,439 points. Again below that, another important support is around 12,200 points.
