Burundi: Augustin Sindayigaya elected president of the Association of Insurers (ASSUR)

General Manager of SOCAR VIE since February 6, 2017, Augustin Sindayigaya, 61, was elected President of the Association of Insurers of Burundi (ASSUR) by his peers during their Ordinary General Assembly of October 9, 2020. The Vice- elected president is Charles Ndagijimana, Director General of the Burundi Insurance Company, (SOCABU).

With a long experience in the insurance sector, on the side of companies and insurance brokerage, Augustin Sindayigaya also has an extensive address book and leadership likely to give more visibility to “ ASSUR ”during the Pan-African meetings (FANAF).

Augustin Sindayigaya was Vice-President of this Association since January 2018. A graduate in Insurance (AC II) at the African Insurance Institute of Tunis, the new president of the Association of Insurers of Burundi holds a license in Sciences of Information and Documentation of the University of Algiers.
