On Tuesday morning, the DAX® benefited from the strong Wall Street performance of yesterday evening: There the initially comparatively large intraday losses were completely offset in the second half of trading. The German leading index benefits accordingly and can recover to over 13,400 points in the morning.

If the buyers manage to overcome this level of resistance, the way to the north would be clear from a technical point of view. In that case, closing yesterday’s opening price gap would be preferable.

If, on the other hand, the index fails because of the outlined resistance zone in the 13,400 to 13,450 point range, another drift towards the 13,000 mark must be expected. The decision on this could be made in the next trading hours.
