At the 30th Munich Personal-Financial.com Market Conference (MKK) from GBC, which took place virtually for the first time this week, around 40 small caps presented. One of them was Dr. Hönle. The UV specialist reported poorer business with adhesives, glass and lamps as a result of the pandemic. As a result, sales in the past 2019/20 financial year fell by 12.9 percent to 93.5 million euros and, at 5.6 million euros, around 55 percent less was earned than a year ago.
But the audience was more interested in the latest innovation: Dr. Hönle offers special UV devices with which coronaviruses can be killed. Because the company is targeting the end customer market for the first time, “TV spots will be shown at prime time before the ARD Tagesschau”, says board member Norbert Haimerl. “We are currently starting mass production and see a huge future market.” News on this could drive the stock in the coming months.
Annoying: Our deduction limit of 40 euros specified in Depesche 22/20 was just missed. Nevertheless, we now recommend investors to start and include the title in the trading portfolio.
