Earlier this year, the Hema already stood out for campaigns with a strikingly optimistic tone in difficult (corona) times. And so also at Christmas. ‘Because yes, a lot is different this year. But doesn’t that give all the more reason to shine? ‘
Advertising agency Alfred developed a Christmas campaign together with Hema, in which this year a conscious choice was made for glitter clothing, Christmas pajamas, shiny make-up, cheerfully popping cava bottles, glittering wrapping paper, dancing Takkies and other Christmas decorations that make you happy.
We see the campaign on TV, in online videos and many different forms of social advertising, but also in Hema’s own resources, from the newsletter and socials to narrowcasting and store materials. ‘So that Christmas sparkles as always – and maybe even more’, brand strategist Edward van de Ridder (Alfred) summarizes the cheerful new campaign.
