Compugroup expects sales to increase by around 20 percent in 2021. The plus is largely due to the two acquisitions made this year. The Koblenz company acquired parts from Cerner in July, and eMDs were bought in November. In organic terms, the sales increase in the coming year should be more than 5 percent.
Adjusted EBITDA is expected to match the 2020 values in 2021. So there should be a margin of 20 percent to 23 percent. Additional investments in new technologies and in sales are likely to depress the margin.
Further details on the forecast should be available on February 4th.
With the outlook for 2020, the forecast for 2020 is confirmed. Compugroup forecasts a turnover of 820 million euros to 860 million euros. Adjusted EBITDA is expected to be between EUR 205 million and EUR 220 million.
CEO Frank Gotthardt said: “The rapidly advancing digitalization in the healthcare system is a blessing for humanity. It offers us great business opportunities. I couldn’t ask for a nicer situation to put the management of this successful team in the hands of Dr. Dirk Wössner and his colleagues in the Executive Board. “
