The real estate group Vonovia reports an acquisition: A portfolio with 1,000 apartments in Kiel will be taken over this year. “The antitrust approval was given on November 27, 2020. The transfer of the apartments is planned for December 30, 2020,” announced the DAX-listed company from Bochum. The seller of the portfolio is the Danish H&L Ejendomme A / S. Vonovia does not provide any information on the purchase price; the parties have agreed not to disclose it.
Vonovia is already active in Kiel. “The portfolios fit together very well, so that we can optimally integrate the new apartments into our neighborhoods. Of course, all rental contracts remain valid – we are aware of our responsibility for our tenants, ”says Dirk Brunnert, Managing Director for the Northern Division at Vonovia. According to the company, employees from the owner company H&L Immobilien GmbH will also be taken on.
