Nordex: State-secured loan partially repaid – share is recovering

The recently completed capital increase by Nordex with a volume of 200 million euros put the share price of the Hamburg-based wind energy company under considerable pressure yesterday. The decline in the Nordex share price, which was still quoted at prices above 20 euros on Tuesday, only stopped at 17.86 euros, just above the 20-day line. In the meantime, the North German share price has moved up from the EMA 20 again. Yesterday, the TecDAX value closed at EUR 18.78, which is close to the daily high, and in early trading on Thursday, prices have fluctuated between EUR 18.85 and EUR 19.18.

This morning Nordex issued another statement on the financial situation. With the capital increase, the financing measures taken this year have been completed, it is said. The financial measures included a government-secured revolving credit facility in the amount of 350 million euros, which briefly caused uncertainty on the stock exchange when it was concluded in August. The wind energy company’s share price has now left the price level at that time far behind, and Nordex has already repaid 100 million euros from the loan.
