The index took a long time, but this week the time had come: the Nasdaq-100® index reached a new all-time high. The bulls lifted the index above the old high of 12,439 points. The new record is 12,510 points.Yesterday, the buyers took a short break, but the upgap remained open. It’s a sign of strength. The bulls now have to follow up with further gains via the trigger at 12,510 points, then there would be room in the direction of 12,820 points. A Fibonacci target can be estimated there.

On the bottom, the reversal candle from Monday remains important. As long as its low at 12,090 points is not broken, the short-term upward movement is intact. A break of the mark would bring the support at 12,034 points into focus. Again below that, the former downtrend line since September and the horizontal at 11,846 points offer support. Only if this mark should break, there is a risk of clearer taxes on 11,566 and 11,356 points. So far, however, the momentum is clearly on the side of the bulls.
