After a rather boring bridging day on Friday, yesterday the Nasdaq-100® Index got down to business. In the first two hours of trading, the Big Boys initially pressed the sell button. In the further course, the index recovered significantly and in this way formed a bullish reversal candle. This reversal leads to follow-up purchases in retail today. The way to the all-time high at 12,439 points now seems paved. For this purpose, however, the index should continue to defend the breakout level at 12,205 points and also no longer fall below yesterday’s low at 12,090 points. If the latter happens, there is further support at 12,034 points before there is a risk of losses towards 11,846 points.

A breakout above the all-time high would in turn confirm the overarching uptrend. In this case, price gains up to 12,814 points would be expected initially, where a Fibonacci projection target awaits the bulls.
