How Carrera wants to reach a new generation of children

Company boss Stefan Krings can see the consequences of the Corona crisis for the toy brand Carrera in his balance sheets – in his case positive. Like other toy manufacturers, Carrera has benefited from families having to spend more time at home this year because of the pandemic. Krings therefore sold “considerably” more race tracks and remote-controlled cars not only in Germany.

The special effect comes at the right time for Carrera. The brand, which was taken over by the Munich-based financial investor Quantum Partners last year, is practically unrivaled on the world market.
