The “Fortune Global 500” is a ranking list of the largest companies in the world. The placement depends on the total turnover. Massive fluctuations are the exception in the top group of the 2020 list. Companies from the top 30 have improved by a maximum of eight places in the current ranking. In most cases, the ranking remained the same compared to the previous year or changed by two to three ranks.
But there are also high-flyers. They improved dozens, if not hundreds, of places in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020.
These are the climbers among the largest companies in the world.
