According to preliminary figures, the m: access-listed Erlebnis Akademie AG has achieved an increase in sales from EUR 13.5 million to EUR 13.7 million. This compensated for the decline in sales from the first half of the year. In addition, the location of the experience academy in Slovenia was only opened in September of last year. At the AG level, sales remained almost constant at 7.5 million euros, while earnings before interest and taxes rose by 9.4 percent to around 1.3 million euros.
“The third quarter was particularly positive in Germany with a very positive increase in visitors, additional sales from the adventure forests and the price increases that have been partially implemented since January, and we have compensated for the decline in sales from the previous quarters. Against the background of the general conditions set by the pandemic, which have been with us intensively since March, we are thoroughly satisfied with the present result, ”says Christoph Blaß, CFO of Erlebnis Akademie AG.
A positive result at group level is now expected for the year as a whole. The aim is to be more specific about the forecast when the quarterly report is presented – as far as there is clarity about the exact duration of the lockdown measures by then, according to the Erlebnis Akademie.
