ExclusiveNeobroker Justtrade enters crypto trading

The two founders of Justtrade: Michael Bußhaus (left) and Ralf OettingPR

A formula appears almost mantra-like in digitization guides: Established companies should try to attack their own business model with new ideas. Michael Bußhaus and Ralf Oetting took this advice to heart, but only after they quit their jobs. Both look back on long banking careers: Bußhaus, for example, worked for Deutsche Bank, Postbank, Sparkassen and Onvista Bank before he ended up in the management of the Comdirect. The jobs were almost always about online brokers. His business partner also has more than 18 years of banking experience.

About two years ago, they quit and started the new brokerage provider Justtrade. An attack on their old employers. Because the start-up offers free stock trading, at the Comdirect the purchase of a security can cost around 10 euros. “I think many old colleagues now envy us a little because we dared to do something new,” says Bußhaus. Comdirect is currently in a state of upheaval and will be integrated into Commerzbank.
