ShareTip of the week: ElringKlinger

That makes the hearts of ElringKlinger shareholders beat faster: Together with aircraft manufacturer Airbus, the supplier wants to develop fuel cells for aviation. A joint company is to be founded for this purpose. ElringKlinger had already delivered so-called “stacks”, i.e. stacks of interconnected cells, to Airbus. The Germans will now provide their technology for the joint venture. In return, Airbus pays a low to mid double-digit million amount.

Airbus recently announced that it would build an aircraft with a hydrogen-powered fuel cell drive by 2035. ElringKlinger has been researching and developing fuel cells for around 20 years. The company’s stacks are particularly suitable for mobile applications with a long range and cyclical operation. They can be used in buses, cars, commercial vehicles and industrial trucks, for example. In addition, the hydrogen-based drive is also suitable for trains, ships or aircraft.

Should ElringKlinger be able to land further deals, the share has the chance of a revaluation. Buy speculatively!
