Serviceware has presented figures for the nine months of the 2019/2020 financial year, which ended on August 31. Across the company, sales increased from 47.7 million euros to 52.7 million euros. The growth driver was the SaaS / Service area, whose sales volume increased by more than 40 percent to 22.4 million euros. In contrast, the operating results are declining: Before interest and taxes, the loss at Serviceware increases from 0.5 million euros to 1.2 million euros, on an adjusted basis, earnings before interest and taxes decrease from 4.1 million euros to 2.5 million Euro. The bottom line is that the company reports a loss of 0.9 million euros after 1.1 million euros in the same period of the previous year.
“Due to the positive business development in the first nine months, Serviceware is confident for the fourth quarter and the 2019/2020 financial year as a whole, despite the limited visibility due to the corona pandemic,” says the company about the outlook for the 2019/2020 financial year. A concrete outlook is not presented, but reference is made to the uncertainties that the corona pandemic brings with it for forecasting on the reference date. The Serviceware Financial and Serviceware Performance areas should be the drivers of positive development, the company said in its nine-month report.
