Online booking platform for hair and beauty Treatwell wants to inspire people all over Europe to (continue to) support local companies.
It is Treatwell’s first campaign to place custom billboards and advertisements in local communities. The campaign is being rolled out in major European cities where Treatwell is active: Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Paris and Rotterdam. Treatwell supports its local partners with more than 2000 creative variants. 954 individual salons and specialists will be featured on more than 1,027 billboards and digital screens in Europe in October and November.
During the campaign, the message is also spread through art. Treatwell works with local artists to (literally) bring beauty to the street in a mural. The mural for the Netherlands was developed in collaboration with Zender and will be visible on the Jan Pieter Heijestraat in Amsterdam, from October 12 to November 12.
Treatwell’s research in August found that 82% of salons trust their regular customers to come back. Smaller companies in the hair and beauty industry are important pillars in the community, offering not only a wide range of services, but also relaxation, a chat and a confidence boost.
