Daily outlook for October 15: DAX stagnates. Nordex, Siemens Healthineers and Varta asked!

The stock markets presented themselves inconsistently today. Neither good company figures nor the new iPhones from Apple were able to put investors in a buying mood. The DAX® fluctuated within a narrow range above the 13,000 point mark and the EuroStoxx®50 at around 3,275 points. A lot of economic data is due for publication tomorrow. Further company data is also expected.

Yields in the bond markets continued to slide today. The yield on 10-year Bunds gave 2.5 points to -0.57 percent and approached the April low. The yield on comparable US papers has lost six points to 0.72 percent since the beginning of the week. The precious metals remained stable meanwhile. The gold price was able to regain the US $ 1,900 mark. Oil was also friendly, scratching recent highs. If a barrel of Brent Crude Oil breaks out above US $ 43.40, there is a chance of a recovery to US $ 46.
