At Villeroy & Boch people are becoming more confident, the forecast for 2020 has been raised. The aim so far has been to generate a positive operating result for the year as a whole. The second half of the year should compensate for the loss from the first six months. These were caused by the pandemic.
In today’s forecast, the Mettlacher assume that an EBIT of 30 million euros to 35 million euros will be achieved. Sales in the current year should be no more than 6 percent below the previous year’s figure. The third quarter was better than last year, the fourth quarter is traditionally strong due to the Christmas business.
For 2019, Villeroy & Boch plans to pay a dividend of EUR 0.55 per preferred share, and EUR 0.50 per common share. The general meeting must decide on this on October 30th.
The company will present its third quarter figures on October 20th.
