SKRR Mobilizes Drilling Crew for Olson Gold Project in Saskatchewan

SKRR Exploration Inc. (TSXV: SKRR; OTC: SKKRF; FSE: B04Q) has mobilized its drilling crew for the Olson Gold Project in Saskatechwan. 12 diamond drillings with a total length of 1850 are planned. The property is located within the Trans Hudson Corridor 100 km east of La Ronge, Saskatchewan and 80 km south of SSR Mining’s Seabee gold operation. Under the terms of the option agreement with Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (“Eagle Plains”) SKRR can acquire a stake of up to 75% in the property.

“We are very excited to begin our first drill program on the highly prospective Olson property,” said Sherman Dahl, SKRR’s chief executive officer. “Our team has a long history of identifying world-class discoveries. We look forward to continuing their record in the gold-producing Hudson Corridor. This drilling campaign follows a very successful fieldwork program on an under-explored property with multiple high-grade gold showings .

Drilling targets 2020

The Olson Property has completed 4,500 meters of historic diamond drilling in 61 holes, with the majority of short hole drilling in the Olson Lake and Dosco – Sikso zones, with the last drill program being completed in 2008. The 2020 drilling will test additional historically drilled zones and previously undrilled and under-explored occurrences based on the current understanding of gold mineralization controls. The modeling of the drilling targets is based on a comprehensive integration of historical and recent geophysical and geochemical surveys as well as detailed mapping and sampling work. Numerous drill targets have been created on the 5,835 acre property, with the current program focusing on the central portion of the property.
