the money supply continues to expand and has now reached unprecedented heights. Even if it is hard to believe, the money supply in the US increased by 23 percent in July compared to the same month last year. Even if not quite as strong, values of plus 10 to 11 percent have also been achieved in Great Britain and the Eurozone, which nevertheless means new highs.
In times of low interest rates and high inflation, this plays into the debt of the states in the cards. However, if interest rates start to rise again at some point, then the situation will get really serious and will affect us all!
You have to counter this somehow. And the tried and tested means for thousands of years has only been the value of gold. More and more investors are realizing this, which is why the precious metal has already risen sharply due to extremely high demand.
Another possibility to invest in gold is to buy into companies that own gold in the ground and that will sooner or later be able to mine it profitably. If the jurisdiction and management fit in with such companies, such as Mawson Gold, you should be wide awake. Because this company still offers a cobalt joker in Finland!
After the flagship explorer Mawson Gold (ISIN: CA57776G1063 / TSX: MAW) doubled its Finland cobalt gold resource just a few days ago, the gold targets in Australia are now continuing in parallel! The company announced that the first three holes on the Sunday Creek target have been completed.
The 345 meters of drilling was completed with the aim of identifying high-grade veining with associated mineralized halos typical of epizonal style gold mineralization on the Apollo-Golden Dyke prospect.
CEO Michael Hudson was very optimistic, who said:
“The search for the next high-grade epizonal gold deposit is in full swing! We are pleased to have completed the first diamond drill holes through the mineralized zone on Sunday Creek and are expecting the first results very soon. “
This means that within the next few days the company could once again make a name for itself with excellent drilling results.
That is why we expect good results!
The historic gold mines on Sunday Creek have a trend of more than 7 miles. The wells that have now been drilled have focused on shallow, previously mined surface work to an average depth of only 80 meters.
Previous drill results already provided grades and distances of for example: 4th, 8 g / t gold over 21 meters and 4.8 g / t gold over 9 meters including 28.8 g / t gold over 2 meters at only 15 meters. Another tip hole returned 11.3 g / t gold over an incredible 66 meters including 40.3 g / t gold over 2 meters at 70 meters! For this reason alone, the outstanding drilling results are particularly exciting and of particular importance!

Time is money, that’s what the Mawson team thought, so they reacted immediately and immediately relocated the drilling equipment to the no less high-grade ‘Redcastle Gold’ project, which has 24 historic mining areas and an area of 4.5 x 7 square kilometers already extremely gold-bearing ore was mined.
This of course also includes the well-known ‘Welcome Group of Mines’, from which more than 20,000 ounces of gold were mined from 1859 to 1865 over a strike length of 2 km to a depth of 125 m with sensational grades of almost 255 g / t gold! So here, too, we can look forward to very exciting drilling results that could massively explode the course!
According to the company, the second diamond drill should arrive in a few days at the latest and support the 5,000 meters of drilling to be carried out on the ‘Victoria’ project. That means it continues at full throttle!
80 million ounces produced within three boom phases!
Even if one might think that after three boom phases (1850, the early 1900s and the past three years) and more than 80 million ounces of gold, the project has long been exploited, one can only say, MISCELLANEOUS!
Two different types of gold mineralization predominate on Victoria. The deeper ‘mesozonal’ style mineralization and the shallow ‘epizonal’ style mineralization. The ‘mesozonal’ style is more prevalent in the Bendigo and Ballarat regions, which is often represented by very large mineralization systems and is rich in gold. However, despite modern technology, these are still very difficult to model.
The ‘epizonal’ style mineralization is of the type of the world renowned ‘Fosterville’ mine on which Mawson is focused. The ‘Redcastle’ part of the project is one of the most significant historical epizonal high-grade gold fields in Victoria and also the first of the three historical central Victorian gold fields mined.
In Finland too, a drilling rig was mobilized in addition to ‘EM’ measurements!
At the same time, a core drill was relocated to the company’s own gold project ‘Rajapalot’ in Finland, where geophysical electromagnetic investigations (‘EM’) are also being carried out in parallel.
The priority drilling targets are ‘Hirvimaa’ and ‘East Joki’, on which a combination of ‘Base-of-Till’ gold anomalies (anomalies from the base of the till), ladders that are included in data from airborne ‘VTEMplus’ and ground-based electromagnetic’ TEM ‘examinations were recognized. The inferred position of the stratigraphic host rock of the gold-cobalt mineralization ‘Hirvimaa’ forms a 3 km long target zone, which is 500 m northeast of the resource area ‘Palokas’, with ‘East Joki’ forming a 2 km long target zone that extends 1,000 m located northeast of the Raja Resource Area.

An initial 2,000 m drill program is planned in these areas in the next two months. A 20 km drilling program with five drilling rigs could then begin as early as mid to late December 2020, with the aim of expanding the recently published mineral resource should be achieved. This new resource estimate actually doubled the resource published just 20 months earlier.
A large number of airborne (“VTEMplus”) and ground-based geophysical “EM” surveys were also successfully carried out on ‘Rajapalot’ in order to localize the conductive and magnetic gold-cobalt mineralization. Magnetic magnetic gravel, which occurs paragenetically with the gold-cobalt mineralization, is highly conductive and has residual magnetism. The coincidence of these geophysical properties was used to successfully locate the mineralizations found in the resource areas ‘Raja’, ‘Palokas’ and ‘Rumajärvi’ and to map their extent in the direction of the fall.
In addition, corresponding anomalies in the ‘Joki East’ and ‘Hirvimaa’ areas are very convincing drill targets!
The company’s boss Michael Hudson said:
“This is the first season in which we have been able to fully apply our geological and geophysical understanding of the Rajapalot mineral system to the summer drill areas of ‘Hirvimaa’ and ‘East Joki’. There is no shortage of geologic evidence that mineralization may continue in these 99% marl-covered areas. This also includes boulders with mineralization of the ‘Palokas’ type in’ Hirvimaa ‘(0.6 m with 21.3 g / t gold and 0.8 m with 13.1 g / t gold) and’ Base- Anomalous grade of till ‘drilling along with the ground based electromagnetic conductors we are now building.
At any point in time, a discovery in these areas could completely change the situation, which would allow us to drill year-round. In the meantime, we look forward to the start of the five rigs drill program in December in our winter drilling sites in Finland and the first results from the two rigs currently drilling on ‘Victoria’ in Australia. “
Mawson Gold (ISIN: CA57776G1063 / TSX: MAW) is on a very successful path to cause a sensation on his Australian project parts such as ‘Redcastle’ and even to turn it into a profitable and high-grade property again! And we believe that the management and geological team that has formed in this company has what it takes to pull this off. Likewise, in Finland there is probably still an incredibly high potential slumbering on the extremely strong cobalt gold project that needs to be found. We also trust the Mawson Gold team to do this without any problems, based on their previous successes. Therefore, we see another favorable entry or purchase opportunity in the latest price setback!
