Hella: Pressure is increasing

Hella’s general meeting decided that the dividend from the Lippstadt company will be suspended. Rolf Breidenbach, CEO of Hella, comments on this: “Our goal is to keep the company as strong as possible and to secure our financial flexibility in the long term. The dividend resolution offers us additional degrees of freedom for this. “

Breidenbach believes that the competitive and cost pressures in the automotive industry will continue to intensify: “We are proactively preparing for this by continuing to invest consistently in software, digitization, automation and automotive trends such as electromobility and autonomous driving. At the same time, however, we will also make structural adjustments to strengthen our competitiveness on the cost side. ”

At the Annual General Meeting, Breidenbach also makes it clear that he sees Hella as strategically well positioned.
