From July 24, professional events (trade fairs, conferences, team-building) will again be possible. In order for Luxembourg to regain its appeal to customers, and for professionals to resume their activity, the Ministry of Tourism is mobilizing the various partners.

The event will take place from November 1 to 3 at the European Convention Center in Kirchberg, which is one of the four Luxembourg members of the ICCA with Luxexpo the Box, Emotion and the Luxembourg Convention Bureau GIE (LCB). The organization has been entrusted to the LCB, which will be supported by the government.

For François Lafont, CEO of LCB, hosting such an event is not only “a real honor”, but also “a great recognition for the work undertaken by the partners working in the business event sector”. Around 150 international participants are expected, from the UK, Nordic countries and neighboring countries.

While the question of a possible relocation of the exhibition and conference center outside Kirchberg remains open, the idea of a global overhaul of the current site is gaining ground. And this, via the creation of a tower within which would take place modular spaces and a hotel.

For this edition, Icca was forced to reinvent itself and opted for a hybrid organization by designating six regional hubs around the world. History to allow participants to connect. A first since the congress was systematically organized in one place. As a reminder, ICCA is the leading global association for the international meetings industry and specializes in the international association meetings sector.
