The podcast series must be in line with ABN Amro’s strategy, Banking for better, for generations to come, in which the bank and its customers look at how services can be improved towards a sustainable future. The podcast series will play a central role in this strategy.
The first episode will be launched under the Image Banking campaign for the business market, in which it is boosted by means of radio commercials, among other things. A quote introduces the problem, followed by the bank’s solution, according to ABN Amro. Reference is made to the podcast series for more in-depth information on the subject.
ABN Amro claims to be the first advertiser in the Netherlands to give the podcast a prominent role in its campaign. Tanja Bom, head of communication & media at ABN Amro, says: ‘We have set ourselves the goal of thinking about a better future. We cannot do this alone, we always do this together with customers and experts. This is how our propositions are created based on insight, promise and evidence. With this podcast series we want to take listeners on this journey, share them with the different perspectives and our dilemmas that come with them. In this way we give more depth to our message. ‘
In the podcast, host Nicole Terborg talks to a panel of opinion makers. She does this on the basis of statements about current themes, such as entrepreneurship in times of crisis, the housing market and digitization. In the first episode “Business in crisis time” the panel is formed by Elske Doets (director of Doets Reizen), Dirk-Jan Stip (owner of two catering businesses in Amersfoort) and Josette Dijkhuizen (honorary professor of entrepreneurship development).
