BBP Media, publisher of MarketingTribune, among others, is organizing the Dutch E-commerce Week this year. The three-day event, from October 28-30 at DeFabrique in Utrecht, consists of Twinkle Marketplaces, Shopping Today and Crossborder.
These events would normally take place on different dates and locations. Due to corona, the organization has decided to bundle the events. In DeFabrique, the RIVM measures can be better enforced and there is room for more visitors, as the Nima Marketing Week showed earlier. Thuiswinkel.org and Dexport are co-organizers.
Peter van Balsfoort, general director of BBP Media, says: ‘Organizing a live event during this strange period is very exciting for us. We will make every effort to keep all as safe as possible ins and outs in the field of online retail. In this way we can finally regain our experiences of the past period face to face share with colleagues. ‘
Wijnand Jongen, director of Thuswinkel.org, adds: ‘We are extremely pleased that the Dutch E-commerce Week is also taking place this year. The great thing about this week is that the visitor can book a day of his or her choice and can really follow knowledge sessions in his or her field. ‘
The relocation and bundling of the events also has consequences for the annual presentation of the Twinkle100, which will take place during Shopping Today, on October 29. So one month later than usual.
