DAX – points victory for the bulls

The buyers were able to prevail yesterday and push the DAX® over the short-term central hurdle at 13,130 – 13,150 points. The result was further buying pressure that lasted until the end of trading. Today a strong trading opening is initially sold, the index consolidates and oscillates around the previous day’s closing price. The short-term chart image should now be viewed as bullish again at the elevated level.

As long as the index is trading above 13,130-13,150 points, the bulls have an advantage. In the short term, as part of the correction since the start of trading, a setback to 13,182 or 13,130 – 13,150 points could follow, where buyers would have to show themselves again. On the upside, the old July high at 13,314 points forms the next hurdle, and there is room for the September high at 13,460 points.

On the other hand, if the index falls significantly below 13,100, caution is advised. Then the bears could take over again and drop the index to 13,000-13,010 or below about 12,900 points.
