Osino Resources plans to accelerate first gold resource for Twin Hills

Exploration geologists love when drill results confirm their model. Apparently the geologists feel of Osino Resources (TSXV: OSI; FRA: RSR1) Due to the high continuity and depth of the most recent wells on the Twin Hills Central (“THC”) gold project, they are so certain of their cause that they want to prefer the calculation of a first resource (Maiden Resource).

David Underwood, Osino’s vice president of exploration said, “Following the recent oversubscribed funding and consistently excellent drill results at Twin Hills Central, we have decided to accelerate the initial resource estimate with additional diamond and RC drill rigs to complete the required drilling by October 2020 . “

The statement is related to the release of assay results for an additional 10 holes at Twin Hills Central (THC) from the ongoing exploration program. Results from these infill and extension holes confirm the lateral continuity and depth extension (down dip) to approximately 300 meters of the previously identified gold mineralization at THC. Significant intercepts were encountered in eight of the holes, including very broad mineralized zones in the western stretches of THC in an area known as “The Bulge”. Holes OKD049 and OKD041 apply due to their mineralized widths of 268 m with 0.60 g / t and 203 m with 0.74 g / t (including 92 m with 1.00 g / t and 22 m with 1.40 g / t t) as exceptional.

This type of mineralization on Twin Hills is reminiscent of other large-scale Grauwacke gold deposits including Macraes in New Zealand (10Moz) and Otjikoto in Namibia (2.5Moz).
