ElringKlinger: Experts see downside potential

ElringKlinger was able to prevent a number of problems in the second quarter through various efficiency enhancement measures. For the year as a whole, the supplier is anticipating a decline in sales and margins to deteriorate. The prognosis has not yet been made any more precise.

Independent Research analysts aren’t sure how sustainable the improvements will be. This is also due to the history of ElringKlinger. The structural challenges also remain high.

In their current study, the experts expect a loss per share of EUR 0.15 (old: EUR -0.06) for ElringKlinger in the current year. In 2021 there should be earnings per share of EUR 0.38 (old: EUR 0.35).

The analysts continue to give a sell recommendation for ElringKlinger shares. However, the target price increases from EUR 3.70 to EUR 4.80.

ElringKlinger’s shares gain 2.7 percent to EUR 6.03. The price is thus well above the price target. The share has corresponding downside potential.
