Chart-technical outlook
Resistance marks: 12,750 / 12,870 points
Support marks: 12,230 / 12,380 / 12,480 / 12,550 / 12,660 points
The DAX® started with a gap and moved up to 12,740 points in the first hour of trading. Then, however, the index ran out of breath and the daily gains crumbled again. At first, the attempt to break out of the downward trend that had formed since July 21 failed. At the close, the index can stabilize in the range of 12,660 points. However, if it falls below the level, there is a risk of a setback in the area of 12,550 points. Sustainable development upwards or downwards is not apparent until a breakout from the 12,550 / 12,750 point range.
