DAX – First target price was reached

The DAX® pulled straight south yesterday. The first price target zone in the range of 12,300 to 12,350 points was even undercut without any problems. It was only an hour after Wall Street started that the index could stabilize and initiate a countermovement. This morning it continued in the range of 12,500 to 12,530 points.
The stabilization phase started yesterday could expand further in terms of price and time in the short-term time window. A conceivable goal of the current technical recovery is the area of the downward trend line in the hourly chart in the range of 12,550 to 12,590 points.

Below this trend line, the German stock market barometer tends to remain at risk of setbacks for the time being. In any case, procyclical buy signals only emerge when the hourly rate rises above the 12,800 mark. Until then, the downside risks remain dominant and recovery is to be seen as a new entry point on the short side. Happy weekend to all readers!
