KPS ‘figures for the third quarter of the 2019/2020 financial year are shaped by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sales fell from EUR 44.8 million to EUR 35.7 million, while the IT Group’s EBITDA fell from EUR 5.4 million to EUR 4.7 million. Before interest and taxes, KPS reports a quarterly operating profit of 2.5 million euros after 4.5 million euros in the same period last year. While the EBITDA benefited from a special effect worth 1.4 million euros, this effect before interest and taxes is almost neutralized again, according to the company.
“The consulting industry was severely impacted by the corona pandemic, which caused demand for consulting services to plummet in many areas. In this challenging environment, KPS was able to hold its own comparatively well, ”said the company on the course of business in the past quarter.
KPS does not make a forecast for the year ending on Friday. Attention is drawn to the continuing effects in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, which brings uncertainties in the demand behavior of existing and potential new customers.
