“In the second half of the year, our business should grow much more dynamically again. We assume that sales revenues will increase strongly in the third quarter and then again in the final quarter, ”says Aixtron boss Bernd Schulte. “The renewal of our product portfolio is making good progress. Thanks to our new products, we will be able to accompany our customers even better as they grow in future markets such as the expansion of the 5G mobile network and e-mobility, ”said Felix Grawert, CEO of Thursday.

With regard to the COVID 19 pandemic, the company speaks of “currently assessed as minor effects”. Aixtron confirms the forecast for 2020 and refers to the order backlog. Revenues between EUR 260 million and EUR 300 million are expected, while the profit margin before interest and taxes is expected to be between 10 percent and 15 percent.
