Correct hand washing is more important than ever because of the corona pandemic. The Black Forest valve manufacturer Hansgrohe therefore relies on special hand-washing cabins, which are particularly interesting for cities, schools and shopping centers.
Schiltach – The valve manufacturer Hansgrohe from Schiltachim Black Forest has reacted to the corona pandemic with new hand washing cabins and sees significant market opportunities in them. Three copies have already been set up in Rottweiler city center. The “soap boxes” are equipped with motion detectors, electronic fittings and an infrared soap dispenser, the use is contactless. On a display integrated in the mirror, knowledge about correct soaping and washing is conveyed upon entry. “The corona pandemic has shown us that the topic of hand hygiene will continue to accompany us in the future,” says Hansgrohe CEO Hans Jürgen Kalmbach. Because proper hand washing can prevent the transmission of diseases by bacteria or viruses. With the soap box, it was possible to provide this topic in a playful and entertaining way for young and old.
