Current indications for the Nordex share are around 9.00 / 9.10 euros and thus significantly above yesterday’s XETRA closing price of the wind energy title at 8.66 euros (-2.26 percent). The reason for the increase this morning is a message from the Hamburg wind turbine manufacturer: Nordex has received a large order from Spain. The North Germans are said to deliver turbines with a total output of 312 megawatts for the “Gecama” wind farm. Turbines of the type N149 / 4.0-4.5 with an operating mode of 4.8 megawatts are to be used.
The customer is the Israeli electricity producer Enlight Renewable Energy. The order volume, about which Nordex, as usual, remains silent, also includes a premium service contract with a term of 20 years.
“The“ Gecama ”project originates in the Castile-La Mancha region near the city of Cuenca. The Nordex Group will install the Delta4000 turbines with a hub height of 120 meters on concrete towers, which the company will produce itself at its new Spanish plant in Motilla del Palancar in Castile-La Mancha, which will go into operation in August 2020 ”, said the company for further details of the order.
