‘Help the Horeca’ is harvesting 3.7 million euros for cafes and restaurants

A great result, with which all participating partners have jointly supported catering businesses of approximately 8000 catering businesses. The promotion ended this week. Guests can now enjoy beautiful moments in their favorite restaurant or café and the purchased coupons can be redeemed, reports co-initiator Heineken.

Stronger together
The end of the corona crisis is not yet in sight. The impact of the coronavirus on the industry is enormous. Nevertheless, the ‘Help de Horeca’ initiative has made a nice contribution for many companies. After all, the fixed costs continued and income was not forthcoming. Vouchers could therefore be purchased through the Help de Horeca platform by anyone who cares about the catering industry in the Netherlands. These coupons not only helped the entrepreneurs earn income when they were closed but also provided support, many guests gave their support to their favorite cause. The vouchers can now open the food and beverage outlets, are redeemed by guests.

80,000 coupons
This special initiative has been started with more than 50 different partners to provide the catering entrepreneurs with liquid assets during the closure of food and beverage outlets. By buying a receipt, guests were able to help their favorite café or restaurant through this difficult time. The fact that more than 80,000 coupons have been purchased by catering enthusiasts shows how much support there is for the Dutch catering industry.
