Deutz’s second quarter will be weaker than the start of the year. The experts at DZ Bank anticipate a drop in sales of almost 40 percent to 290 million euros. EBIT before special items is expected to be -17 million euros. Order intake is expected to decrease by 40 percent to EUR 262 million.
According to the Executive Board, sales in China are expected to reach 800 million euros in 2022. So far, one assumed 500 million euros. The joint venture with Sany in particular is intended to provide growth impulses.
Deutz currently has no forecast for 2020. The uncertainties surrounding the pandemic are too great. The old forecast was withdrawn at the end of March.
DZ Bank experts confirm the buy recommendation for Deutz shares. The target price has been raised from EUR 4.60 to EUR 5.20.
For 2020, the analysts at Deutz forecast a loss per share of 0.11 euros (old: -0.04 euros). In 2021 there will be a profit of 0.36 euros per paper.
Deutz shares are now up 0.6 percent to EUR 4.208.
