Sometime around noon, the Wirecard investor overcame and posted an apology. It was addressed to two journalists, an editor of the Handelsblatt and one of the FAZ, which had been criticized by fans of the payment service provider for their reporting over the past few weeks. “I turned the @FranzNestler on too, for which I apologize. Was a mistake, ”wrote the Twitter user.
Rarely has a euphoric investor community found itself so abruptly on the ground of the facts.
