The sports car manufacturer Porsche also wants to produce cars on about a dozen weekends in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. In this way, the failures caused by the corona pandemic should be made up more quickly. The prospects for Porsche are very different worldwide.
Stuttgart – The Stuttgart sports car manufacturer Porsche is once again significantly increasing its production after the corona-related mandatory break. Vehicles will also be built at the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen site on about a dozen Saturdays this year. Porsche wants to start on June 20. The company and the Porsche works council have agreed on this, as Porsche explains in a conversation with our newspaper. Work was also started in Zuffenhausen on Friday, May 22, the day after the holiday of Ascension. Cars will also be built on another so-called bridge day, Friday, June 12, as a Porsche spokesman says. The ribbons in Zuffenhausen normally stand still on bridging days.
