Exasol will issue the shares at the IPO at 9.50 euros. This does not take advantage of the price range of 8.50 euros to 10.50 euros. According to the company, the IPO is significantly oversubscribed at the placement price. The company had shortened the subscription period by one day due to high demand.
5.1 million shares from a capital increase will be issued. Existing shareholders sell 2.035 million shares. KfW is mentioned in this context. The over-allotment option consists of two tranches of around 2.07 million shares. This means that a total of around 9.2 million papers go to new investors. The placement volume at Exasol’s IPO is EUR 87.4 million.
Exasol wants to continue growing with the fresh money. Activities in the DACH region, Great Britain and the USA are planned. They also want to put money into research.
The shares will be first listed on May 25 in the Scale segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
